William The Wise
As Told By Guy "Blood on Snow" Thatcher, Cliath Galliard of the Silver Fangs
March 1, 2006

*Guy stood up and for a long moment was quiet before
he began.* I am new here to this part of the country,
I came from the east, New York in fact...that in mind
most of my tales come from there, though I am
interested in learning your tales from here. The
story I am about to tell is of a young Fianna kin.

Not so long ago there was a small pub on
the outskirts of New York City. In this pub worked a
young man his name was willaim, he worked it in league
with the rest of his fammily. see this pub was no
oridinary pub in fact it laid on the boundries of a
small caern, no where near the size of the sept of
the green. William had spent many nights in this pub
working his hands to the bone regretting his lot in
life. He felt he deserved more, and to some extent
he felt jealousy for his cousin, his cousin having
under went the change. And this bore a deep
resentment for all things of the garou, as is
surprsingly common amongst kin who feel they have been
mistreated in there lot in life.

William became a drunkard and would occasionaly
going looking for trouble, on more then one occasion
he found it, this night it just happend to be a garou
named Monica. monica was as beautiful as she was
cunning. See williams bitterness had attracted monica
and her pack to the small caern.

Monica's alpha had chosen her and put he r in
position to seduce William, and marvelously she did
she began to eek inot the emptiness in his soul and
soon became the most important thing to him. * a sad
look* in no time she had infiltrated the caern she
knew and reported it's strengths and defenses to her
alpha, the ways into the it through the pub.

See monica had tricked and maniulated Willaim she used
him to locate the caern he helped guard through that
pub. William over heard Monica's pack and there
plans to take the caern one night. See monica was a
black spiral dancer who had manged to infiltrate the
sept through William. he was left torn he loved
this woman didn't he ? She had come to fill the void
he had in his life...more so then his own fammily had
right ? how could she be a Black spiral dancer? he
found himself running and torn who did he side with
monica? or his fammily ?

*Guy paused lettng those listening digest this much
of the story. and to steal a swig of a bottle of
whiskey which he would then pass around.*

hours passed and William had decided maybe he
could save them both. His first attempt was a phone
call to his cousin he would let them know theyw ere
going to be attacked...and then he would plead his
love fr monica to keep her away , in his mind it
seemed a sound plan. except he had failed to contact
his cousin. instead he showed to argue his reasons
to monica but she had already left to lead he rpack
to the caern, soon willaim began to realize he was
running out of options. and he made haste to the
pub, praying that he would arrive before the spirals.

And by gaia's grace he arrived in enough time
winded and exhausted. He wasn't exactly sure what it
was he had planned to do, but he knew something had to
be done despite the love he felt for monica and he
found himself turning the pilot lights off on the
stoes in the kitchen before that door opened and who
happend to walk through it.

Monica stood watching William who turned to look at
her his expression clearly torn. "please I love you "
was all he said. She merely smirked coldly at him and
advanced her pack comming through with her andin that
moment he realized seeing her shifting to her crinos
form what he needed to do and he simpley lit a match.

The explosion that resulted didn't kill the spirals
but it did bring the caern to alert that something was
wrong. Because of this kin's actions he almost
brought ruin to the garou in his life, only upon
looking at the face of his loved one twisted and
distorted by the wyrm did he find the strength to
sacrafice himself. Had william been treated
differently he might not have been able to make this
decision.

Willaim died from his injuries roughly an hour later.
He was buried with the honorific name William the Wise
